Hello to you all.
Well the clocks have changed, so I suppose it is on with winter and cosy evenings to make Christmas cards. Showing a card today with an image from the Easy Events stamp set.
Here I have used papers for the background from the Candelight Christmas Speciality designer paper pack, and stippled some white ink around the edges of the lower paper. If you use the white craft ink remember it is a pigment ink which stays wetter for longer and so needs to be dried with a heat tool.
This paper set is on a gift with purchase offer at the monent so please go to www2.stampinup.com if you would like more details.
These papers are in colour combinations of Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade, Primrose Petals, Real Red and Very Vanilla, which is a little bit different for Christmas and are currently in the Autumn/Winter mini catalogue, see the left hand side of my blog. I stamped my design above in Always Artichoke ink and lightly water brushed Lucky Limeade for the leaves and So Saffron for the berries.
I added one of the new Dahlia Adornments, but only one because they are precious little things.
Back soon,
Julia
