Candlelight Christmas

Hello, the end of another weekend and I hope you have had a good one.

Showing a second Christmas card made with the Candlelight Speciality Designer papers. Just a simple design making a feature of the sentiment.

To make the card first mat and layer your Raspberry Ripple base card with Lucky Limeade card stock and the designer paper.

Then cut a label with one of the new Apothecary Accents Framelit dies in both paper and card and stick the two together to make a firm base.

Next cut some equal size squares from left over scraps of  paper (for this I used the 1 3/8 " square punch) and roll them up diagonally across the paper, glueing as you roll, to form the 'tubes' (I rolled mine round a piercing tool or you could use a cotton bud with the ends cut off).

Now fix the tubes to your label using super sticky tape. Layer up several foam dimensional pads on the top of your label in the area between the the tubes (this stops your sentiment from squashing). Then add more tape on top of the tubes and fix your sentiment. You can now punch some holes in your label, wrap around some bakers twine and fix to your card.

Please note that becuase of the depth of this card it would cost extra to post, so is best hand delivered to someone special.

The sentiment used here is from the Open Sleigh stamp set.

All items from Stampin' Up.

Colours used:
Card - Raspberry Ripple, Lucky Limeade
Ink - Raspberry Ripple

Back soon,

Julia
