Fresh Vintage for Mother's Day

This is a card I have made to give to my mother-in-law on Mothering Sunday. I am quite safe showing it here as I know she does not have internet access.



I have really enjoyed using this Sale-a-Bration Fresh Vintage stamp set and the lovely Everyday Enchantment papers.

The two floral panels have been stamped with Poppy Parade ink onto Very Vanilla card, and the main image has then been embossed  using the Square Lattice folder. The spotty and the striped panel are both from the paper pack.  

The the base card is Pool Party and the panels have been mounted onto Poppy Parade card.

Additional items used - Taffeta Ribbon 1/8th inch in Old Olive, Glimmer Brad from the Brights Collection, Jewellery Tag punch and Tiny Tags stamp set.

Fresh Vintage - Simply Stamped

Just a quick post with a simple card today.

The base card is Pool Party with a layer of Poppy Parade. Images have been stamped in the same colours onto Whisper White card, and the sentiment stamped in Basic Grey.

Mix and Match Colour Collection Kit for February 2012

Hello, I hope you have all been enjoying a spot of warm cosy crafting while the snow was snowing and the temperature was dropping outside.

I am pleased to share with you my February colour collection kit designed around two sets of papers. Firstly, Well Worn which is rough and ready and great for those sometimes difficult to make cards for men and boys. And secondly, a set of very elegant papers Everyday Enchantment (from the current Sale-a-Bration promotion) in beautiful colour tones.

Simple Cuckoo Clock

Just a simple cuckoo clock card to share with you today, from the Forever Young stamp set.

The base card is Cajun Craze, a new colour for me, and this has been layered with some fabulous Mocha Morning flock paper. I have lightly daubed the card around the clock with Soft Suede to give an aged effect. The clock face and black surround has been stamped a second time on a separate piece of card and then cut out and fixed the main image with dimensional foam pads.

January Monthly Colour Collection Kit - Spice Cake

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and welcome to a new year of crafting.

My January colour collection kit has been designed around a  set of  Designer Series Papers 'Spice Cake', available from the 4th January 2012 when the new Spring Mini Catalogue launches.

In the kit you will receive 12 pieces of 15cm x 15cm Spice Cake papers (2 each of 6 double-sided designs) together with 10 x A4 matching cardstock in Pear Pizzazz, More Mustard, Soft Suede, Pool Party and Very Vanilla. The kit also includes 4 x half-metre lengths of co-ordinating ribbon, a selection of brads, and a selection of punched/die cut flower shapes, together with an inspiration sheet of card ideas to get you started.
